Tip of the month
Cornstarch is notorious for clumping when added to hot liquid. The crew at America’s Test Kitchen recommends thickening your gravy with roux (made with flour and butter). A small number of grubs are beneficial, but if you have more than 10 per square foot or have a problem with foraging animals tearing up you lawn, now is the time to take action." – garden expert P. "When berries are at their peak in the farmer's market, buy a whole bunch. At home, wash them and place them on a baking sheet in the freezer. Twenty minutes later, pop the frozen berries into freezer bags and put them back in the freezer. Tip: If the blade is loading up with resin and pitch quickly, then the blade is not parallel to the miter slots. -- place the rice in a saucepan or rice cooker, flatten it with your palm
and, without removing your hand, add water until it touches the highest

Make spring cleaning easier by creating a method to your madness. Store your cleaning products together by room in labeled baggies or storage containers. This allows you to conveniently organize your rags, sponges, and products by purpose. Then, when it comes time to clean each room, you can grab-and-go for an easy and efficient clean-up!
Every time you set up to paint, begin with this helpful tip from Bob Ross Inc. "Form the habit of placing your paint colors in the same location on your palette every time you paint ... you can spend an unbelievable amount of time looking for a color on an unorganized palette. "Our beloved roses, generally speaking, are sun lovers so choose a full sun position. It's always a good idea to: keep them well mulched (lucerne is a great one), keep them in a mounded bed with rich, well-drained soils, and choose a position that is protected yet well ventilated -- a reliable breeze discourages any fungal-style infections."
