Darley Newman is the founder, host and producer of the Equitrekking travel television series. With Equitrekking, Darley combines her passion for horses and travel, searching for the best equestrian destinations around the world.

With experience working for best-selling author James Patterson, The Talk Radio News Service, 48 Hours, CBS, FRONTLINE and PBS, Darley’s assignments have ranged from covering the White House to reporting from the opening night of the one-woman off-Broadway show More starring Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson from The Simpsons. Darley’s Equitrekking Travel Blog is a popular part of Equisearch.com and is promoted in Horse & Rider, Dressage Today, Practical Horsemen, Equus magazines and online. Darley is currently working on a companion coffee table book that will be published by Chronicle Books in the fall of 2008.

As a regular columnist, Darley’s monthly equestrian travel tips column and travel article series in True West and Practical Horseman magazine reaches a diverse audience of horse and history enthusiasts. She is the Managing Editor of Equitrekking.com, Equitrekking's monthly e-newsletter and a member of the North American Travel Journalist Association.
