Create™ Tv Channel Offers Saturday Themed Programming With More Superstar Chefs… Garden Makeovers… And More!:Create TV’s themed marathons showcase many of America’s most popular and highly rated how-to, cooking, travel, gardening and arts & crafts series
BOSTON Feb. 28, 2008 – Superstar chefs and more of America’s favorite public television personalities will be featured in Saturday themed marathons this April on Create TV – available on digital cable and digital broadcast across the country (check local listings). The channel, a unique destination for many of television’s highest-rated lifestyle series, showcases six-hour marathons of episodes focusing on different themes each week.
This April, Create TV’s marathons feature entertaining food, travel, craft and gardening themes including: “Southern Hospitality” (April 5); “Superstar Chef II (another full day of the chef biography series Chef’s Story)” (April 12); “A Passion for Fashion” (April 19); and “Flower Power” (April 26).
Southern Hospitality – April 5
Create TV crosses the Mason Dixon line in the company of talented chefs John Shields and Chris Kimball, equestrian traveler Darley Newman and historian Burt Wolf. This group of talented hosts will show viewers exactly what Southern Hospitality is! Destinations include Georgia, Virginia, the Carolinas and Louisiana.
Superstar Chef II – April 12 Twelve more superstar chefs discuss their passion for food with another full day of the biography series Chef’s Story. See revealing interviews from top culinary professionals, including Todd English and Charlie Trotter.
A Passion for Fashion – April 19
This arts and crafts marathon focuses on our team of expert seamstresses, Sue Hausmann, Shay Pendray and Martha Pullen, guiding viewers through every stitch until they have a gorgeous garment! Topics include double-stitching, quilting, embellishments and more.
Flower Power – April 26
Learn some great tips for your indoor and outdoor spaces with Create’s gardening and home experts. Create TV features a full day of garden-focused programming, including the popular garden and home series P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home, Katie Brown Workshop, and For Your Home, starring mother and daughter team Vicki Payne and Sloan Payne-Rutter.
