The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences just announced nominations for Daytime Emmys, and Create® TV's programming ranks among the best. Seven of Create TV’s popular how-to shows earned eight 2011 Daytime Emmy Award nominations for excellence in television.

Create's programs landed nominations in five categories ranging from Outstanding Culinary Program to Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Host. Categories and nominations are listed below:

OUTSTANDING CULINARY PROGRAM
America's Test Kitchen From Cook's Illustrated
Public television’s most watched cooking show follows host Chris Kimball and his test-kitchen crew as they test and compare foods, recipes and kitchen tools while sharing delicious and well-thought out recipes.

Cook's Country From America's Test Kitchen
Chris Kimball’s second series, featuring regional home cooking from across the country, approaches food in a practical, no-nonsense way. In a renovated 1806 farmhouse, the cast scientifically re-imagines family-friendly recipes for the modern home cook.

The Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday, June 17, 2011.
