What's New in September
New Shows!
A new travel series, In the America's With David Yetman, premieres on Create in September. Host David Yetman, showcases the landscapes, peoples and history of North America and South America — from the frigid, glacier-carved barrens of northern Canada to tip of Tierra del Fuego in Chile. During the 10-part series, host David Yetman (The Desert Speaks)visits Mayan temples in Guatemala, isolated settlements in British Columbia, ancient fortresses in Mexico, the wild mountains of western Argentina, colorful festivals in Columbia and the often ignored Great Lakes of the United States. Along the way, he meets natives and immigrants, islanders and mainlanders, pastoralists and city-dwellers, including Japanese immigrants in the Amazon, the descendants of poor Italians in Chile and the Quechua people of Peru.
In Art of Food With Wendy Brodie, celebrated California chef Wendy Brodie creates lively, enticing recipes. The new series highlights plate design and presentation, décor and centerpiece design and inspiring entertaining ideas. Brodie cooks from her large home kitchen, but she also ventures to unusual locations in California: rustic farms in Salinas, a ranch in Big Sur, wine festivals and an annual gathering of world-renowned chefs and winemakers. Art of Food guests represent a diverse range of culinary culture — from celebrity chefs to expert winemakers, caviar-mongers and table-setting mavens.
